Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - New Orleans, Louisiana

Job Description

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Pharmacy Technician position is available in Marrero, LA, on a per diem basis, offering an opportunity to contribute to patient care by accurately preparing and dispensing medications. This role emphasizes excellent customer service and collaboration within a healthcare team.

Schedule:

Thursday, August 13, 2026: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Friday, August 14, 2026: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Monday to Friday, August 17–21, 2026, and August 24–28, 2026: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Monday and Tuesday, August 31 and September 1, 2026: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Distribute prescription medications as directed by physicians and authorized health practitioners
Provide accurate information to customers regarding medication use and safety
Deliver superior customer service, maintaining professionalism and empathy at all times
Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

Desired Qualifications:

Valid Louisiana Pharmacy Technician License
Experience in retail or long-term care pharmacy settings is preferred
Strong attention to detail and adherence to regulatory requirements
Excellent communication skills with customers and healthcare professionals
