ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Customer Service & Sales Representative with Tim Hutcheson Agency , you’ll support customers and our service team by handling routine service requests while contributing to agency growth through consultative sales. This role is designed for someone who wants a career —not a “halfway in” position—who shows up every day, does the right thing, and is rewarded for consistent effort.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle routine customer service requests
• Respond to inquiries and provide accurate policy information
• Process policy changes, updates, and account maintenance
• Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities based on customer needs
• Conduct consultative conversations to recommend appropriate coverage
• Assist customers through the claims process and follow up as needed
• Maintain accurate customer and policy documentation
• Coordinate with the team to ensure timely, consistent service

SALES EXPECTATIONS

• Participate in inbound and outbound sales conversations
• Write new policies and add coverage for existing customers
• Follow up on warm leads, referrals, and coverage gaps
• Meet established sales and activity expectations
• Participate in sales coaching and development

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Customer-focused with comfort in sales-oriented roles
• Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities
• Customer service or sales experience preferred
• Insurance licensing (or willingness to obtain) required
