Location - San Jose, CA or San Diego [Must be in either PST or MT or willing to work those hours]

Client: Medical Device Company

Employment Type: Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens Or GC Holders Only)

Location: Remote. Prefer someone in San Diego or San Jose so they can go onsite if needed. Must be in either PST or MT or willing to work those hours.

Overview:
This temporary position with BD Biosciences will support downstream marketing activities.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for "routing" documents and claims through the BD electronic approval system; will train on system
- Responsible for working with product managers to support claims made in promotional materials to legal, regulatory and medical affairs
- Responsible for working with product managers to update promotional materials
- Responsible for working with product managers to support the claims made in promotional materials to legal, regulatory and medical affairs
- Will work with brand team to bring marketing materials in compliance with updated brand standards
- Must be able to develop actionable workplans and roadmaps for materials development
- Will need to communicate and drive alignment on priorities

Required Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Communications, Marketing or a relevant field. Experience in flow cytometry a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of marketing experience in the life sciences industry.
- Candidate should have a working knowledge in brand marketing, market/customer segmentation, value proposition development, competitive analysis, marketing communications, and digital and traditional Go-to-Market strategies.
- Experience creating promotional collateral.
- Ability to rapidly absorb detailed product information and translate it into correct messaging.
- Ability to work effectively on multiple projects with competing priorities.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to work well within the department and cross-functionally.
- Superb cross-functional and project management skills.
- Comfortable in a global, fast-paced, always-on, highly matrixed environment.
