Position Details

• Position: CNC Operator

• Assignment Type: Temporary

• Shift: 2nd Shift | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

• Pay Rate: $19.00/hour + $1.50 shift premium

• Interview Required: Manager Review & Interview (Offer Extended After Interview)

Job Overview

The CNC Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality parts according to engineering specifications. This role requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, milling, and other machining processes

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions

• Load raw materials and components into machines

• Perform test runs and adjust machine settings to meet specifications

• Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments

• Inspect and measure finished products using precision measuring tools

• Maintain accurate production records, job logs, and documentation

• Conduct routine machine maintenance and daily equipment checks

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Support production workflow and team operations as needed

Qualifications

Required:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous CNC machine operating experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents

• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers

• Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred:

• Trade school certificate or machining-related technical training

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.50 per hour
