Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, to ensure the physical and emotional well-being of our residents

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, under the supervision of licensed nurses

• Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues to promote a culture of respect and compassion

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall quality of care and services provided

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create personalized care plans and ensure seamless communication

Requirements:

• Current certification as a Certified Medication Technician (CMT)

• High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred

• Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends; flexible scheduling

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Compassionate and patient-focused approach; ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
