Field Service Manager: Packaging & Floorcare Tech Lead

We are actively growing our Packaging & Facility Solutions business across Texas and Oklahoma . As part of this growth, we’re hiring a hands‑on Service Manager to help build and lead our Packaging and Industrial floorcare service operation in the DFW market. This is a true player/coach role . You won’t be managing from behind a desk—we’re looking for someone who enjoys turning wrenches, solving complex service issues, and setting the technical standard while building a scalable service team. What You’ll Do Lead From the Front Perform service and repairs on industrial scrubbers, sweepers, and related equipment Handle complex troubleshooting and diagnostics Establish and uphold service quality standards Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs Build & Lead a Growing Team Manage existing technicians , with planned growth to add more Train and mentor technicians on best practices and safety Assist with recruiting future technicians Help Build the Service Operation Improve service processes, response times, and efficiency Help implement and refine service tracking systems Coordinate scheduling and parts management Support broader Facility Solutions growth initiatives Partner With Customers & Sales Communicate repair status and timelines clearly with customers Support sales teams with technical insight Identify service opportunities within existing accounts Build strong long‑term relationships through service excellence We’re targeting candidates coming from: Floorcare equipment dealers or service companies Packaging equipment service organizations Janitorial chemical service companies Industrial maintenance environmentsFacility service providers Experience We’re Looking For Required Hands‑on experience repairing industrial equipment Experience leading technicians or acting as a lead tech Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Comfortable using service software and digital tools Strong communication and customer‑facing skills Valid driver’s license Strong Plus Experience with Tennant, Kärcher, Nilfisk, or similar equipment Packaging equipment or chemical dilution systems Service ticketing systems or CRM experience Bonus tied directly to service department growth Full benefits package Opportunity to build and lead a regional service team Clear career path as Lindenmeyr Munroe continues expanding Facility Solutions across Texas and Oklahoma Who This Role Is Perfect For A Lead Technician ready to step into management A Service Manager who still loves technical work Someone who wants to build something , not just maintain it A leader who takes pride in developing people A professional looking for long‑term growth with a stable, growing company This Role Is NOT For Somone Who: Wants a fully administrative management role Has no recent hands‑on technical experience Prefers managing only from an office Is uncomfortable being the technical escalation point #J-18808-Ljbffr Lindenmeyr Munroe
