Responsibilities:

• Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and assures proper file identification on all images
• Demonstrate competency performing all radiographic procedures and the operation of all related equipment
• Greet patients, obtain history, and enters information in computer system
• Perform x-rays at the optimal quality
• Demonstrate patient care; make sure to protect patient as best as possible from excessive radiation
• Observe patient vital signs during examination

- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and positioning them correctly - Operate and maintain imaging equipment in a safe and effective manner - Review images to ensure quality and accuracy, making adjustments as necessary - Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care - Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of information - Follow proper safety protocols and adhere to radiation protection guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or Baccalaureate degree in radiography, radiation therapy, or nuclear medicine preferred.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certified & NY State license in Radiologic Technology.
• One to four years of experience in as general radiologic technologist preferred.

Compensation: $45.00 - $70.00 per hour. Commensurate with experience. All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines. Excellent benefits and other incentives offered.
