Join to apply for the Merchandising Sales Associate role at Tractor Supply Company 1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Overall Job Summary The Field Activity Support Team (FAST) Team Member is responsible for traveling to stores within an assigned district to own and execute "start to finish" variable tasks such as planograms, as well as provide support for other tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly, and the maintenance of all signage. The FAST Team Member will interact with customers and Team Members, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, and overtime as dictated by business needs. Communicate proactively and regularly with District FAST Supervisor on work completion, issues, and offer solutions to overcome. Complete planograms and resets accurately and in a timely manner. Maintain visual merchandise standards. Perform store specific measurements. Complete store layout initiatives. Perform accurate cycle counts. Complete Tractor Way top cap process. Hang store signage. Assemble merchandise, fixtures and PDQs. Perform detailed recovery and review planogram integrity. Deliver on our promise of Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Ask to add value, and Appreciate the customer. Ensure a legendary shopping experience that differentiates from the competition. Provide peak coverage as needed (e.g., Day After Thanksgiving). Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred. Must be 18 years or older and possess a valid driver’s license. High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential. Preferred Skills and Abilities Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding strongly preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Basic computer skills. Interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict. Self-directed with the ability to complete assignments independently. Working Conditions Generally indoor with moderate noise; outdoor lots are hard surfaces. Shifts vary, generally no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours. Travel between store locations using personal vehicle; long periods expected. Adhere to safety guidelines to promote a safe environment. Physical Requirements Travel as needed. Push/pull merchandise up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment. Lift or reach overhead occasionally. Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, climb ladders frequently. Operate store equipment and handle merchandise weighing up to 50 pounds. Read, write, and communicate effectively. Operate vehicles and equipment as required.
