Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Traveling Physical Therapist Opportunity

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Join as a traveling physical therapist in Sylva, NC, where you will support outpatient orthopedic and neurologic patients in a hospital-affiliated setting. Provide one-on-one therapy, contribute to positive patient experiences, and work with an interdisciplinary team focused on quality care and patient satisfaction. New graduates are welcome to apply.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program approved by the APTA.
• Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience or demonstrated competency in outpatient orthopedics and neurologic rehabilitation (ortho/neuro). This is a required skill set.
• Ability to provide 1:1 therapy and document in an outpatient EHR (Redoc outpatient experience preferred).
• New graduates accepted.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in a hospital-affiliated outpatient therapy clinic.
• Familiarity with orthopedic and neurologic evaluation and treatment planning.
• Experience with outpatient scheduling and working with interdisciplinary teams.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:30–17:00.
• Outpatient focus on orthopedics and neurology.
• Weekend hours not likely. Call requirements: none.
• Occasional floating may be required depending on staffing.
• Patient ratio: 1:1 therapy.
