Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
Location: Carthage, TN
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shifts will include:
- 2 days per week, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- 2 days per week, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Every third weekend, Saturday and Sunday from 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) to join our team. The MLT will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests, as well as ensuring the functionality and cleanliness of laboratory equipment. This role requires expertise in several areas of laboratory analysis and adherence to safety protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct tests in chemistry, hematology, coagulation, blood bank, urinalysis, and phlebotomy.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment.
- Analyze results and maintain accurate records.
- Collaborate with the medical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Must have a valid MLT license in Tennessee.
- BLS certification is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a general laboratory setting.
