This is a great opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with an adult and geriatric rehab population. You'll evaluate and treat patients recovering from hospitalization, surgery, illness, or injury, with a focus on improving strength, balance, mobility, safety, and functional independence. Position Highlights Skilled Nursing Facility setting 13-week travel assignment Full-time schedule Adult and geriatric rehab population Short-term rehabilitation and longer-term patient needs Gait, balance, strengthening, and mobility training Collaborative interdisciplinary rehab team Qualifications Required Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program Current Florida PT license or ability to obtain prior to start Current BLS certification Strong evaluation and treatment skills Strong documentation and communication skills Comfortable working with adult and geriatric patients SNF or geriatric rehab experience preferred What You'll Do Complete PT evaluations and reassessments Develop individualized plans of care Provide gait, balance, strengthening, transfer, and mobility training Help patients improve functional mobility and independence Provide fall-prevention and safety education Educate patients and caregivers Collaborate with PTA, OT, COTA, SLP, nursing, and other members of the care team Assist with discharge planning and recommendations Complete timely clinical documentation Why Lake Worth, FL?
