Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab

Location: New Jersey

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift: 4x10-Hour (08:00 AM - 06:30 PM) On-call: 12 hours on weekdays (7 PM - 7 AM), 24 hours on weekends and holidays (7 AM - 7 AM).

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will be responsible for providing critical care in the cardiac patient population. This role requires a commitment to working holidays and providing on-call support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor patients undergoing various cardiac procedures including LHC, RHC, and more.
• Assist in special procedures such as pericardiocentesis, cardiomems, and TAVR.
• Provide emergency care during cardiac events and manage patient load in accordance with hospital standards.
• Utilize the Epic charting system to document patient care and interventions efficiently.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role; 2 years preferred.
• Active NJ or Compact RN License required at the time of submission.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and RCIS are required.
• Travel nursing experience is mandatory.
