Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech)

Join our team as a dedicated Emergency Room Technician (ER Tech), where you will provide essential support to nurses and doctors in a fast-paced emergency room environment. This role involves delivering basic medical care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth operations to enhance patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen levels.
• Assist with basic patient care tasks such as cleaning wounds, dressing injuries, and applying splints or casts.
• Collect patient specimens, including blood, urine, or stool samples, and ensure proper labeling for lab processing.
• Support nurses and doctors during medical procedures by preparing equipment and handing them necessary tools.
• Transport patients safely within the hospital for imaging, testing, or transfer to other departments.
• Maintain a clean and organized emergency room by restocking supplies and sanitizing equipment.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families, providing updates and reassurance during stressful situations.

Work Environment:

• The role is based in hospital emergency rooms where ER Techs work closely with multidisciplinary teams to address urgent medical needs.
