2 Temporary-to-Hire F/T Certified Medical Assistants Needed, North Chicago, IL Our client, a busy Healthcare Clinic located in North Chicago, Illinois, is currently looking to hire two temporary-to-hire full-time Certified Medical Assistants. You will be supporting the clinical team and ensuring efficient, high-quality patient care. These are temporary-to-hire full-time Medical Assistant Positions working Monday-Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm) for a total of 40 hours per week. Job Responsibilities Assist in direct patient care, including vital signs, rooming patients, administering vaccines, drawing blood, and preparing patients for exams and procedures. Support clinicians with minor procedures, specimen collection, and documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Educate patients on health maintenance, chronic disease management, and preventive care under the direction of clinicians. Ensure exam rooms are stocked and maintained, managing clinical supplies and inventory. Manage vaccine inventory. Assist in maintaining accurate and complete patient records, ensuring all clinical documentation is completed in a timely manner. Job Requirements At least 2 years of recent Medical Assistant experience is required. High School Diploma Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) is preferred. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. Current CPR certification. Strong clinical skills in patient care, specimen collection, and clinical procedures. Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Microsoft Office applications.
