Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - PCU/IMC/Stepdown to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to patients with a neuro focus, including strokes and seizures.
• Manage tracheostomy and ventilator care, ensuring proficiency with RT equipment.
• Titrate and manage medications such as Heparin and Diltiazem safely and effectively.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to assess and stabilize patients with complex needs.
• Participate in floating to sister units, such as mixed care and cardiac, as required.
• Adhere to charting systems and facility policies, using systems like Cerner for documentation.

Qualifications

• Current RN license with the ability to practice in Wisconsin.
• Minimum of 2 years of MS, PCU, or ICU experience.
• Certifications in BLS and NIHSS are required.
• Experience with tracheostomy and vent management preferred.
• Ability to titrate drips and manage medications such as Nitro and Amiodarone.
• Open to learning new protocols and first-time traveler applicants considered.
