Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing outpatient team in Edgewater, Florida .

This is a full-time or flexible-schedule opportunity (20-32 hours per week), offering excellent work-life balance, collegial support, and a patient-focused clinical environment. The position is outpatient only , with no call and manageable patient volumes averaging 13-17 patients per day .

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with endocrine and metabolic disorders, including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions.
• Collaborate closely with diabetes educators, dietitians, and primary care providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Provide patient education and counseling to support disease prevention, lifestyle modification, and treatment adherence.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to the advancement of best practices and evidence-based endocrine care.

Qualifications

• Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Licensure & Certification: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology; eligible for Florida medical licensure.
• Experience: Previous outpatient experience preferred; new graduates and fellows are welcome to apply.
