Part-Time BusserHere at Park Place of Elmhurst, we offer a continuum of care with the security of lifecare. Our residents also have access to assisted living, short-term rehabilitation, skilled nursing, and memory support right on campus. We are seeking hardworking professional Part-Time Bussers.Benefits:Paid Time Off (PTO) and Extended Illness Bank (EIB) will accrue according to the current Paid Time Off PolicyA performance discussion will take place after a 3-month probationary periodDental insurance benefits offered if you are working 20 hours or more a week (employee paid)Employee Assistance Program (company paid)Tax Sheltered Annuity Pension Plan (403b) with optional employer matching contribution.All other benefits and Personnel Policies described in the Providence Community Handbook.Key Responsibilities:Assist in daily or scheduled cleaning duties; clean equipment, sweep floors, clear and carry soiled dishware to wash areas, return clean dishware to proper storage areas, wash and clean dishware or pots & pans as needed, assist cook in preparing meals when needed, and deliver food trays to designated areas. Keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous equipment, supplies.Attends and participates in department meetings and in-service training.Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the department.Food service experience is a plus. On the job training is provided!Requirements:Medium amount physically demanding work.Must pass a physical, drug screen, 50-pound lift test, fingerprint for criminal background and successfully complete a reference check.Must be able to push, pull, move and/or lift a minimum of 50 pounds to a minimum height of 3 feet.Must possess Food Handler Certification or Serve Safe Certification or obtain same within 90 days of hire. Certification must remain current throughout employment.
