Truck/Trailer Mechanic - Full-Time North Little Rock, Arkansas Alter Trading Corporation / TRG 1st Shift - Monday-Friday About Us TRG is part of Alter Trading Corporation, a 127-year-old, privately held company operating over 70+ scrap metal processing facilities across 11 states. We are a leader in the recycling industry, trading recycled materials both nationally and internationally. Our team is committed to safety, integrity, and operational excellence. Position Summary We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Truck/Trailer Mechanic to support our facility operations in North Little Rock, Arkansas. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment, as well as managing the facility's safety and environmental programs. Key Responsibilities

- Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on all facility equipment
- Maintain and repair equipment on or off site, including:
- - Cranes
- - Forklifts
- - Loaders
- - Non-ferrous Shear
- - Skid Steers
- - Sorting Lines
- - Shredders
- - Trucks & Trailers
- - Wire Strippers
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Organize and maintain cleanliness of the Maintenance Department
- Assist with ordering parts, welding, fabricating, and minor electrical repairs
- Promote and enforce all safety standards and PPE compliance
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience with industrial equipment maintenance preferred
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Familiarity with safety and environmental compliance standards
