Shop Hours: Monday & Thursday 7:00 AM–8:00 PM | Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 7:00 AM–6:00 PM | Rotating Saturdays 9:00 AM–4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $27–$31 per flagged hour, depending on experience
Pay Type: Flat Rate
Pay Schedule: Bi-weekly

Michael Bates Chevrolet is seeking an experienced Collision Technician in Woodhaven, MI, paying $27–$31 per flagged hour based on experience.
This position focuses on collision and body repair with no paint responsibilities.
Technicians can expect consistent shop volume in an established Chevrolet dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair collision-damaged vehicles and restore body components to professional standards.
• Repair or replace damaged vehicle body components as needed.
• Identify necessary collision repairs and required parts.
• Complete body repairs efficiently while maintaining quality and attention to detail.
• Coordinate with the body shop and dealership team throughout the repair process.
• Inspect completed work for quality and proper repair.
• Focus exclusively on collision and body repair; this position does not include paint work.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of collision or body shop repair experience.
• State of Michigan certification required.
• Strong hands-on collision and body repair skills.
• Must have your own professional tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with the body shop team.
• Digital Vehicle Inspection (DVI) experience preferred but not required.
• ASE certifications preferred but not required.
