Job Overview Career TEAM seeks a Career Advisor to provide career counseling, intensive case management, and follow‑up services under the supervision of the WIOA Program Lead. This full‑time, non‑exempt position is 100% onsite. Responsibilities Provide intensive case management services to registered customers within the One‑Stop system. Complete intake and eligibility determination for the workforce program and assess jobseekers’ employment and training needs through interviews, testing, and other methods. Enter and process client data in the participant information system and any other required databases. Guide jobseekers through the preparation of individualized employment plans (IEP) based on their occupational goals. Counsel clients on available job opportunities, training programs, and services. Complete Individual Training Account (ITA) vouchers and other required documents for client training enrollment. Refer individuals to appropriate services, training programs, or job opportunities and follow up on those activities. Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, job clubs, and other group presentations for clients. Follow all policies, procedures, and regulations related to eligibility documentation. Maintain accurate individual case files, ensuring all required documents are present and compliant. Develop comprehensive Individual Employment Plans (IEP) for all customers. Provide referral and tracking of eligible customers into contracted programs on‑site or in the community per established contracts. Meet or exceed program benchmarks and participate in staff events, training, meetings, and supervision. Complete all required reports and work within established deadlines. Approach each day and task with a “ZAG” mindset. Perform other duties and projects as needed. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Experience in training, counseling, case management, or related services. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Drive). Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cooperatively in a dynamic team. Ability to motivate and influence customers toward goal achievement. Experience working with a culturally diverse customer base and cultural sensitivity. Exceptional time‑management skills to meet deadlines under pressure. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver’s license. Benefits 401(k) with a generous employer match.
