Job Title
Previous line cook, prep cook or kitchen experience is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation practices. Ability to follow recipes, portion standards, and instructions. Knife skills or willingness to learn. Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the shift. Strong communication skills as well as strong attention to detail.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items. Set up, stock, prep, and maintain clean organized stations. Follow proper food handling, labeling, dating, and rotation procedures (FIFO). Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly. Wash dishes, cookware, and utensils as needed. Take out trash and maintain cleanliness of the dish area, prep areas, and kitchen floors.
