Program Administrator

Program Administrator Location: Primarily Remote (Candidates must reside in Maryland, Washington, DC, or Virginia) Pay Rate: $24–$28/hour Job Type: Ongoing Contract Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours About the Opportunity Our client is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of various programs and initiatives. This position is primarily remote and ideal for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys coordinating projects, and can effectively manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with internal and external stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Provide administrative and operational support for ongoing programs and projects. Coordinate meetings, maintain schedules, and distribute meeting materials and follow-up communications. Track project timelines, deliverables, and program activities to ensure deadlines are met. Maintain accurate records, reports, databases, and program documentation. Assist with preparing presentations, spreadsheets, and other business documents. Serve as a point of contact for program participants, vendors, and internal teams. Support event planning, training sessions, and virtual meetings as needed. Monitor and organize shared files, ensuring documentation is up to date and easily accessible. Research information, compile data, and generate reports for management. Perform additional administrative and project-related duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in program coordination, project administration, administrative support, or a related role. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. Experience maintaining databases, tracking projects, and preparing reports. Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with a team. Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting multiple programs or projects simultaneously. Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools. Experience working in a nonprofit, government, association, or corporate environment.
