Under close supervision, feed and process cattle; deliver feed using feed wagon; assist in birth deliveries; irrigate hay, cane, corn, and other forage crops; use ATV safely to perform duties on the ranch; assist in harvesting and baling hay; assist with building and repairing fences barbed wire, electric fencing, and poles; spot and spray noxious weeds; and put out gated pipe in spring and pick up in the fall. Requires 2 years of experience as Ranch Hand. At least one year of experience in the following skills: 1. Safe operation of ATV; 2. Irrigation of crops using motorized systems including pivots and siderolls; 3. Building and repairing fences; and 4. Processing livestock. $50,918.00/Yr.
