About the Role
The Company is seeking an experienced Head of U.S. Commercial Operations to lead and scale its commercial activities in the U.S. The successful candidate will be responsible for unifying teacher community building, strategic partnerships, and marketing execution into a cohesive growth strategy. This role involves representing the company at U.S. piano teacher events, planning and organizing Clefer-led events, and building a robust teacher community platform. The Head of U.S. Commercial Operations will also be instrumental in supporting the rollout of a certified teacher program, managing strategic partnerships, and activating social media and influencer programs. A key aspect of the role is to provide marketing intelligence and reporting, contributing to the company's marketing dashboard, and flagging cultural, competitive, and market signals from the U.S. piano education community. Applicants for this executive-level position should have a strong background in the U.S. K-12 education market, with a focus on commercial experience in the education sector. A music education background, experience in startup growth, and fluency in B2B2C marketing, particularly in the EdTech or music industry, are essential. The role requires a candidate who is comfortable with cross-cultural collaboration, proactive, and self-directed in their communication. The ideal candidate will be passionate about the mission of the company, which is to connect and inspire a global collective of piano players, and will be dedicated to supporting the real pain points of teachers and students in the piano education community.
