Mental Health Therapist

Seeking an experienced Mental Health Therapist to provide non-medical clinical mental health services in a structured behavioral health setting. The role focuses on conducting mental health screenings and assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, providing counseling and crisis intervention, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The ideal candidate will have strong psychological counseling skills, sound clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively with individuals with diverse behavioral health needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct mental health screenings, assessments, and clinical interviews. Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans. Provide individual counseling and appropriate mental health interventions. Deliver crisis intervention and support as needed. Document assessments, treatments, and evaluations accurately. Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive clinical information. Apply evidence-based psychological counseling theories and techniques. Qualifications Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or a related clinical field from an accredited institution. 5+ years of clinical experience , including 2+ years in a comparable role . Active Mississippi unrestricted state license/certification such as LCSW, LPC, or LMFT , as applicable. BLS certification required. Valid driver’s license required. Must reside 70 miles away from the job location.
