What To Expect Tesla’s core services team builds systems that orchestrate customer flows for robotaxi, charging, over the air updates, subscriptions, electric, lease/loan, roaming in charging, NACS and other ownership related products for both B2C and B2B customers. These systems are production-critical and directlyimpact customer experience, revenue and need to be optimized for uptime, and scalability. We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to work on Robotaxi and Charging primarily. You will own the technical direction, write production code, and may lead a team of engineers while scaling the system to support more complex flows. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in backend systems with hands-on distributed systems experience, strong product instincts, and an AI-forward mindset. This position is based in Fremont, CA.
