As a Satellite Communications Network Engineer on our team, you will help develop, modernize, and sustain secure and resilient network capabilities that support critical defense operations. You’ll use your skills in network design, architecture, Layer 2/3 technologies, and system interoperability to improve reliability, availability, and performance across mission‑focused environments. You will also contribute to engineering efforts including implementation planning, technical reviews, test activities, and upgrades supporting enterprise‑wide modernization.You’ll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, network design and architecture, IP engineering, network transport layers, updating network equipment, and performance monitoring as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and technologies. Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging technology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization initiatives. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
