Medical Office Representative

Job Summary As a Medical Office Professional, you will be the welcoming face and voice of our clinic, providing essential administrative support for a smooth patient experience. Every day, you will manage patient reception, schedule appointments, handle calls, guide check‑in/out. You will verify demographics, process payments, and ensure clear communication between patients and staff, maintaining an efficient front desk. Responsibilities Answer phone calls and schedule patient appointments. Conduct patient pre‑certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care. Schedule tests, procedures, and referral appointments. Communicate with patients regarding appointments and instructions for procedures and tests. Collect insurance information and patient personal data. Collect fees such as co‑pays / co‑insurance. Job Requirements High School diploma or GED. Courses in medical terminology and surgical procedures. Previous surgery scheduling experience. Computer and applications software experience. Preferred Some college courses.
