Sonographer

Sonographer Cooperidge Consulting Firm is seeking a Sonographer for a top Healthcare client. Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year. Job Responsibilities Perform various complex diagnostic ultrasound procedures, adhering to established safety protocols and quality standards. Operate and maintain specialized ultrasound equipment to capture and process high-quality images across a diverse patient population. Specialize in performing vascular studies, applying knowledge of anatomy and physiology to accurately detect and document vascular patency and abnormalities. Analyze the technical aspects of the ultrasound image and assessment data to provide physicians with accurate diagnostic information. Maintain all equipment and ensure cleanliness of the room, notifying appropriate personnel of any necessary repairs or maintenance. Provide compassionate patient care, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring patient comfort and cooperation throughout the examination. Document all procedures, findings, and technical data accurately and in a timely manner within the patient's record. Requirements Education Associate Degree is required. Graduation from an accredited Sonography program is required (implied by certification). Experience Greater than two (2) years of professional Sonography experience is preferred. Prior experience focused on vascular imaging is highly desirable (implied by the required certifications). Certifications/Licenses Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS) certification must be obtained within one (1) year of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Skills Proven technical proficiency in operating diagnostic ultrasound equipment and image analysis. Strong knowledge base in cross-sectional and vascular anatomy and pathology.
