Responsibilities include providing care to patients of all ages. The unit has a total of 7 beds, including 2 psych rooms and 2 hall beds. Patient ratios are 5:1, ensuring focused attention and care. The nursing staff collaborates to support each other and enhance patient outcomes. Candidates must possess the required certifications prior to the start date. The work environment can become chaotic, requiring a calm demeanor and strong clinical judgment. Team members are expected to show professionalism and a willingness to learn. It's essential to respect departmental expectations and work collaboratively towards solutions. Team members should avoid engaging in gossip or drama. A dress code is in place, requiring appropriate scrubs and avoiding unacceptable attire. This position is designed for someone who is confident and knows how to navigate challenges effectively.
