Equity Research Associate

Yorkville Ives is seeking an Equity Research Associate to join the Energy & Power Solutions team. The ideal candidate will support the Senior Analyst’s research operation, starting with a coverage ramp, and collaborate, as needed, with counterparts across the merchant bank on various energy and/or power related projects. Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in equity or fixed income research (buy- or sell-side) or investment banking Existing possession or willingness to obtain FINRA SIE (Securities Industry Essentials): Series 86, 87, and 16 licenses Advanced knowledge of and experience with Excel for company modeling and financial analysis Industrious and resilient work ethic with a team-oriented mindset Efficient, clear verbal and written communication skills Hands-on experience with Python and AI assistants is a plus Hybrid initially with a varying requirement to commute into NYC Responsibilities Create, maintain, and forecast detailed company earnings models (P&L, cash flow statement, and balance sheet) Develop and apply analytical tools to extract insights, extrapolate trends, and evaluate scenarios Cultivate relationships with company executives and industry contacts Develop a deep knowledge base in and understanding of energy and power ecosystems Synthesize, write, and edit factual content for research reports with deadlines Communicate with both internal and external clients Please submit a CV to: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr
