Home Health Aid / Certified Nursing AssistantThrive USA Home Care Services is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aid / Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team across Maryland, DC, Florida, and Tennessee. We provide exceptional in-home support to veterans, military families, and individuals with diverse care needs. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, ensure their safety, and promote their independence and well-being. Your attention to detail and energetic approach will help create a warm, supportive environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring personalized care, particularly within our veteran and military communities.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygieneMonitor clients' health status by observing vital signs and overall condition, reporting changes promptlySupport medication administration following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure privacy and safetyPrepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption if necessaryFacilitate safe patient transfers using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer liftsMaintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning, sanitation, and organization of client spacesProvide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community outings to promote independence and engagementRequired QualificationsKnowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's care), memory care, and hospice care practicesAbility to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with manual handling tasks using proper patient transfer methodsStrong communication skills for effective client interaction and care plan documentationValid certifications in First Aid and CPRPosition DetailsPay: $21–22 per hourHours: 10–40 hours per weekWork Location: In person (Maryland, DC, Florida, or Tennessee)Company: Thrive USA Home Care ServicesAt Thrive USA, we're committed to honoring the service of our veterans and military families while delivering compassionate care to all clients.
