SkyCare Services is a licensed in-home care agency serving SC. . We provide personal care and companion services that allow our clients to stay safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Our caregivers are the heart of what we do, and we work hard to match you with clients and schedules that fit your life.

What You Will Do

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will work one-on-one in a client's home providing personal care and companion support, including:

• Companionship and conversation
• Assistance with bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Assistance with toileting and personal hygiene
• Assistance with walking, transfers, and home exercise programs
• Meal planning and preparation, monitoring diet and eating
• Medication reminders
• Light housekeeping, laundry, and linen changes
• Grocery lists, shopping, and errands
• Accompanying clients to doctor appointments
• Reporting any changes in a client's health, needs, or living conditions to the office
• Clocking in and out for each visit according to the client's schedule

Overnight shifts are available on some cases and include assistance with the evening routine and support as needed through the night.

What We Are Looking For

• Reliable, dependable, and on time for every shift
• Patient, respectful, and genuinely caring toward older adults and people with disabilities
• Able to communicate clearly with clients, families, and our office staff
• Comfortable working independently in a client's home

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and SLED check
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Current TB test or willingness to complete one before starting
• Ability to lift and assist clients as needed

No certification is required. We will train the right person. CNA, PCA, HHA, or caregiving experience is a plus but not necessary.
