About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Towne U.S. LLC to find a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) in Thornton, Colorado, 80241!

We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, school-based position at Riverdale Elementary . This role will support an intensive preschool classroom serving students ages 3–5 within a collaborative early childhood special education environment.

The SLP will work directly alongside an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to support communication development and functional outcomes for preschool-aged students.

Position Details

• Location: Riverdale Elementary
• Schedule: Full-time
• Setting: Intensive Preschool Classroom
• Student Population: Ages 3–5
• Caseload: Small caseload with approximately 5 students in AM class and 5 students in PM class
• Environment: 100% classroom-based setting

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy services for preschool-aged students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Support students with speech, language, articulation, social communication, and developmental communication needs
• Collaborate closely with the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher and multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
• Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions as appropriate
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive classroom environment

Requirements

• Required: Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Required: Active SLP license in state of practice or ability to obtain
• Preferred: Previous school-based or early childhood experience
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a classroom-based team environment
