Job Description We are seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. This hospital-employed role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing cardiovascular and structural heart program, allowing you to focus on advanced surgical care while working alongside a collaborative and experienced surgical team. Quick Facts Employment Type: Full-Time, Employed • Schedule / Hours: Mix of OR, inpatient, and clinic responsibilities • Call: Shared call rotation with three cardiothoracic surgeons • Patient Volume: Established program with continued growth • Location: Denison, Texas (60 miles north of Dallas) • Practice Setting: Regional referral center with advanced surgical services • Support / Care Team: Three employed surgeons, cardiology team, APPs, and full hospital support staff • EMR / Technology: Advanced surgical technology including hybrid ORs and robotics Responsibilities Perform a comprehensive range of cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures • Participate in the development and expansion of the structural heart program • Utilize robotics-assisted surgical techniques (experience preferred but not required) • Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, APPs, and multidisciplinary care teams • Manage perioperative and inpatient care responsibilities • Document patient care using hospital EMR system Compensation & Benefits Salary: Competitive base salary performance-based incentives/bonuses • Sign-on / Relocation: Generous commencement bonus and relocation assistance • Health, Dental, Vision & Retirement: Comprehensive benefits package • PTO, CME & Schedule Flexibility: Paid time off and CME allowance • Wellness & Work-Life Balance Support: Shared call schedule and strong team support Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery • Active or eligible Texas medical license • Interest in structural heart and advanced cardiac procedures • Robotics experience preferred but not required • Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required Growth & Development Opportunity to help expand a growing structural heart program • Access to state-of-the-art surgical technology including hybrid ORs • Affiliation with a national healthcare organization offering long-term career growth Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed regional referral center serving North Texas and Southern Oklahoma.
