A top-producing Mortgage Team is looking for a bilingual Loan Officer Assistant to join our growing mortgage team in Imperial, California.

We're looking for someone who has excellent communication and administrative skills, enjoys working in a busy environment, and genuinely cares about providing an outstanding client experience.

You don't need mortgage experience to be successful in this position, but it's a plus. We're willing to train the right person who has strong work habits, a positive attitude, and is a quick learner with a desire to learn and grow.

$38,500 yearly plus bonus

• Manage the Loan Officer's calendar, schedule appointments, and help keep daily activities organized

• Contact incoming leads, schedule consultations, and assist with lead follow-up

• Enter and maintain accurate client and lead information in the CRM

• Track leads, follow-up activities, and important information using spreadsheets and other systems

• Help ensure no leads or opportunities fall through the cracks

• Communicate with clients and referral partners through phone calls, text messages, and email

• Assist clients with collecting, organizing, and tracking mortgage documents

• Maintain organized records, notes, and checklists to help the team stay on track

• Provide timely updates and help create a positive, professional client experience

• Support the Loan Officer with daily administrative tasks and priorities.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Assist with basic social media activities, video uploads, and content organization as trained

• Comfortable with AI

• Learn mortgage processes and gradually take on additional loan-related responsibilities.

• Help maintain strong relationships with clients and referral partners

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is required

• Must be able to work in person at our Imperial, California office

• 2 years of professional office experience

• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Warm, personable, and comfortable speaking with clients on the phone

• Dependable, punctual, and committed to following through on responsibilities

• Takes initiative and can work independently without constant supervision

• Excellent at consistent follow-up

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills

• Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a busy environment

• Proficient with email, calendars, spreadsheets, and basic computer applications

• Comfortable learning new technology and using digital tools

• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and desire for professional growth

• Previous administrative, banking, credit union, or customer service experience is preferred

• Mortgage industry experience and loan program knowledge are helpful but not required

• Must be willing and able to obtain the appropriate mortgage license within 6 months of starting, subject to applicable licensing requirements
