Role Description

Key Responsibilities

• Execute a wide range of ultrasound investigations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and other small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, ensuring clear and compassionate explanations throughout the procedure
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality diagnostic outcomes
• Manage and maintain imaging equipment, promptly addressing any malfunctions
• Keep precise documentation of procedures as well as maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay abreast of advancements in ultrasound imaging methods and best practices

Educational Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
