Our approach minimizes unnecessary patient transport and ensures convenient, compassionate, and high-quality vascular care for residents in their familiar environment.Position SummaryPrimary Vascular Care is seeking a reliable, compassionate, and skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our growing mobile vascular team. In this role, you'll provide high-quality vascular ultrasound services directly within long-term care facilities. This position is ideal for a vascular sonographer who enjoys independence, variety, and working within a supportive team environment. Candidates who are not currently vascular certified are still encouraged to apply; we offer up to one year after hire to obtain the certification.What You'll DoPrepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment according to PVC protocolsConfirm patient identity and review clinical documentationPerform vascular and venous ultrasound exams, including venous reflux studiesCapture diagnostic-quality images and obtain additional images as neededUse proper patient positioning and ergonomic scanning techniquesDocument findings, limitations, and incidental findings accuratelyFollow HIPAA guidelines and infection-control protocolsMaintain and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; report issues promptlyCollaborate with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative teamsSupport quality standards and participate in ongoing trainingPerform other duties as assigned by managementWhat We're Looking ForCompletion of an accredited vascular or ultrasound programBLS CertificationStrong competency in vascular ultrasound imaging and documentationComfortable using PACS and EMR systemsReliable vehicle and clean driving record (mobile role)Not listed on the OIG exclusion listProfessional, dependable, and able to work independentlyReliable transportation (personal vehicle) requiredCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurancePaid Time Off (PTO)Mileage reimbursement401(k) plan
