Key Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts
• Start Date: June 15th
• Unit Details: 6-bed CTICU specializing in fresh post-op hearts
• Travel assignment; 75-mile radius rule applies

Desired Qualifications:

• RN license with 2+ years of recent Cardiothoracic ICU experience
• Comfortable managing fresh open-heart patients (CV surg, cardiogenic shock, AAA)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (all current)
• Proficient in EPIC documentation systems
• Prior travel nursing experience required

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, evidence-based care to patients recovering from complex cardiothoracic procedures
• Respond rapidly to changes in critical patient status
• Facilitate multidisciplinary collaboration and effective communication within the ICU team
• Monitor, document, and report vital changes using EPIC EMR
