Position: Part time Housekeeping Aide
Schedule: Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7AM-3PM.
Essential Functions
Housekeeping Duties:
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms, hallways, dining areas, bathrooms, and common areas
- Safely mix and use cleaning solutions and store them properly
- Label and remove infectious waste bags and containers
- Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards throughout the facility
Basic Maintenance Support
- Assist with minor repairs and upkeep, including:
- Fixing closet doors
- Snaking toilets
- Hanging pictures
- Helping with flood clean-up
- Assembling simple furniture (e.g., items ordered online)
General Responsibilities
- Perform other tasks as assigned
- Follow company policies, procedures, and compliance standards
- Adhere to all federal, state, and professional regulations
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read and write at a level appropriate for the job.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, family members and facility staff.
- Knowledge of infection control techniques.
- Ability to be patient and polite
