Job Description: Summary: The Production Control Scheduler is responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining effective production schedules to support manufacturing operations and customer delivery commitments. This role collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to balance capacity, materials, and demand while responding to changes in production conditions. The position plays a key role in supporting operational efficiency, on-time delivery performance, and continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops, maintains, and adjusts production schedules to support manufacturing plans, customer delivery requirements, and operational priorities.
- Coordinates with manufacturing, customer support, engineering, and supply teams to ensure accurate scheduling and timely communication of changes or constraints.
- Monitors production capacity, material availability, and workflow to identify risks to delivery commitments and recommends corrective actions.
- Provides timely updates to internal stakeholders regarding schedule changes, potential delays, and priority orders.
- Supports resolution of issues related to material shortages, capacity constraints, variances, or disruptions impacting production flow.
- Ensures work orders are properly planned, released, tracked, completed, and closed within established timelines.
- Evaluates production performance data to support continuous improvement in scheduling accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Assists with schedule alignment to the overall production plan and responds to changing demand or manufacturing conditions.
- Collaborates with production teams to implement schedule adjustments as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and leadership.

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in planning, tracking, and reporting production activities.

- Ability to lift, move, or position materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
- Frequent standing, walking, and movement throughout the manufacturing facility.
- Work is performed primarily on-site within a manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to noise, humidity, dust, chemical fumes, and varying temperatures.
- Proximity to moving mechanical parts, material handling equipment, and forklift traffic.
- Compliance with all applicable safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment, to maintain a safe working environment.
