Job Info Job Location: Lafayette, Indiana Route Type: Local Type of Assignment: Dedicated Transmission Type: Automatic Job Requirements Experience: 2 years Handling: No-touch freight Additional Information Local CDL A Flatbed Driver - $29/hr Benefits | Lafayette, IN About the Position TransForce is seeking a CDL A Flatbed Driver to support local operations based in Lafayette, IN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. Pay & Schedule Details Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 5 pm, home daily, occasional Saturday if needed Pay: $29/hr ($1,600 weekly) Job Details Route Type: Local, shipping loads daily from Lafayette, IN to Millersburg, IN. Occasional overnight trip for an Illinois route. Equipment: Flatbed, manual transmission Handling: Chaining, strapping, and tarping experience required, but tarping is only required in inclement weather Key Responsibilities Safely operate equipment on local routes Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards Perform required handling tasks, including chaining, strapping, and tarping as needed Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations Meet the physical demands of the role Minimum Requirements License: CDL A Experience: 4 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience Equipment Experience: Flatbed experience required Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off 401(k) Referral program Why Work With TransForce?
