• Start Date: ASAP, we have a new employee orientation class starting soon
  • Orientation Note : Our New Employee Orientations are held every other Wednesday, starting at 10:30am. You will need to attend the full day.
• Hourly Wage: RN = $40/hr and LPN = $35/hr
• Shift: 8 hour shifts; Days
• Schedule: 7a-3pm, with an every-other weekend rotation

Job Description

Floor nurse - providing excellence in clinical care

At our behavioral health center (an Independent Care Facility or ICF), Nurses play a key role in helping our residents feel safe, respected, and supported as they work toward their clinical and recovery goals. You'll be part of a close-knit, multidisciplinary team that values compassion, collaboration, and stability in care.

In this role, you will:

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a behavioral health setting
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with individualized care plans
• Observe resident progress and respond thoughtfully to changes in condition
• Support and guide CNAs while working together as a unified care team
• Help maintain a calm, structured, and therapeutic environment, using de-escalation skills when needed

Qualifications

Floor Nurse: We will consider a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for this role.

What we need from you:

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in IL
• Prior floor nurse experience within a skilled nursing facility is strongly preferred
• Experience with the post-acute patients - specifically the cardiac, post op ortho & the medically complex
• Electronic medical records experience is helpful (Point Click Care or PCC is ideal)
• New Grads are encouraged to apply
