Pay: From $17.00 per hour Job description: NexTerra Wine Company is a premier wine producer built on the belief that great wine begins in the vineyard. NexTerra is looking for a full time Production Assistant to work on our Bottling Line! Working as part of our team, under the guidance and supervision of the Team Lead. This position may rotate between different areas including the dumping station, stacking station, clean-up, etc. We are willing to train the right person! Responsibilities include but are not limited to: · Under supervision, position final product in palletized form. · Make ready packaging materials to company standards · May rotate between the following areas; dumping station, stacking station and bottling line clean-up. · Ensures safety guidelines are met within the task performed. Requirements: · Must be able to lift 18 to 50 pound cartons on a repetitive basis. · Must be able to perform all job functions in strict adherence to company health and safety protocols, quality control standards, and standard operating procedures. · Follow safe operating procedures, support safety programs and policies to safeguard personal safety, team member’s safety, company property, and environmental controls. · Positive attitude, strong work ethic and integrity · Punctual, reliable, dependable and organized · Ability to follow through on tasks · Adaptable and able to work in a fast-paced production environment · Work with a sense of urgency and adhere to strict time frames and deadlines · Accuracy and attention to detail Physical Job Functions: Ability to lift at least 50lb Heavy lifting is required Ability to stand on feet for up to 10 hours a day.
