Job Title: Medical Assistant 2
Location: Pinellas Park, FL 33781
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Schedule: Days, 5x8hrs, 40 hrs. weekly

Job Summary:
Medical Assistant with strong back-office clinical experience to support physicians and nurses in an outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will provide direct patient care, perform clinical procedures, and assist with administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

Welcome and assist patients during clinic visits.
Record patient history, symptoms, and update Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
Take and record vital signs.
Perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and collect lab specimens.
Administer injections and perform basic diagnostic tests.
Prepare, clean, and sterilize medical equipment and exam rooms.
Work closely with physicians and nurses to deliver quality patient care.
Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate patient documentation.

Required Experience and Qualification:

1-3 years of Medical Assistant experience
Active CMA or RMA Certification
Current CPR or BLS Certification
Phlebotomy experience (Required)
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills and experience with MS Outlook
Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume clinic
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willing to complete a Tuberculosis (TB) screening if selected
