## Senior Financial AnalystApplylocations: Alexandria, Virginiatime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R2126176**Title:**Senior Financial Analyst**Why Join Us?*** **Innovative Projects:** KBR’s work is at the forefront of engineering, logistics, operations, science, program management, mission IT and cybersecurity solutions.* **Collaborative Environment:** Be part of a dynamic team that thrives on collaboration and innovation, fostering a supportive and intellectually stimulating workplace.* **Impactful Work:** Your contributions will be pivotal in designing and optimizing defense systems that ensure national security and shape the future of space defense.The successfully selected candidate for this Sr Financial Analyst position will be a full-time employee of the KBR team supporting our DOD Test Resource Management Center’s (TRMC) contract.Primary Duties, Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions for this position will include the following:* Works closely with the program manager to ensure the program and the program’s projects funding is properly maintained.* Supports the budget formulation for Program Objective Memorandum (POM) inputs.* IAW guidance from the Program Manager, develop spend plans in support of POM initiatives.* Serve as the liaison between the Program Manager and government CFO team.* Tracks MIPR level execution by project, integrates Service/Agency MIPR reporting data (distribution, obligation, accrual, disbursement, PM expenditure) data with FM tracking and DFAS reporting data.* Execute other duties as assigned.* Must be willing to travel to Northern Virginia and other areas as required.Minimum Qualifications:* Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and eight (8) years' work-related experience in a relevant discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience.* Active DoD Secret clearance* Demonstrated experience in developing, managing and monitoring budgets.* Proven ability to create, track and adjust budgets and spend plans, ensuring alignment with budget authority, funds availability and project timelines.* Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends or discrepancies, and develop practical solutions to improve financial reporting.* Ability to prepare and analyze variance analyses and make data driven recommendations to leadership.* Experience working within the NCR region with DoD and/or Service organizations and individuals.* Requires expertise with specialized experience in the DoD financial processes.* Must have a demonstrated ability to work effectively across a multi-Service environment.* Strong written and verbal communication skills to present financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical staff.* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to include advanced Excel skills.* Must be within100 miles of Northern Virginia and must be willing to travel to Northern Virginia and other areas as required.Desired Qualifications:* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.* Motivated, committed and loyal team player with positive "can do" attitude.* Highly organized and proactive.* Dependable and capable of multi-tasking and working well under pressure.* Prior experience working with Washington Headquarters Service highly desired.* Strong attention to detail.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Strong supervisory and leadership skills.* Thorough understanding of the FAR and contract management.* Thorough understanding of customer interactions and standing operation procedures.* Thorough understanding of project management.* Strong quantitative skills.* Adeptness in the use of logic to solve problems, communicate with customers, and build relationships with external agencies.* Proficient with the DAI financial system.Belong, Connect and Grow at KBR At KBR, we are passionate about our people and our Zero Harm culture.
