Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN)

Schedule: Shift: 0800-1630 M-F with weekend and weeknight call rotation

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• License: Current nursing license
• Skills: IV insertion, PICC/Central line management, vascular device access/care, tele interpretation, cardioversion/defibrillation
• Experience: Required line management skills, airway skills for procedural sedation, circulating skills in OBGYN/OR

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe patient assessments and recognize complications as they arise.
• Implement radiation safety measures where applicable.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining procedures and addressing concerns.
• Collaborate with team members and radiologists regarding patient needs.
• Make critical decisions and respond effectively to high-pressure situations.
• Manage multiple responsibilities across departments while adapting to new environments.
