Markets for these technologies include terrestrial and space-based astronomy, semiconductor manufacturing, energy generation, Defense ISR, and Directed Energy. Xinetics program core technologies include Lead Magnesium Niobate (PMN) electrostrictive actuators and lightweight Ceraprint silicon carbide optics and precision structuresLearn more about AOX at Roles and Responsibilities:Design and documentation of opto-mechanical and electro-mechanical systems on multiple projects through all phases of development and manufacturingCreate part and assembly models, detailed drawings, and associated parts lists, in accordance with ASME Y14.5 and AOX drawing standardsPerform trade studies, design of experiments, assembly and testing of parts, components, and assembliesDevelop and execute mechanical testing and qualification plans to meet system requirementsWork closely with senior engineers including the chief engineer and program management to drive hardware design, working within challenging schedulesDerive system level requirements into mechanical designsSupport for root cause analysis and quick resolution of manufacturing line stops and other critical production activitiesCollaborative work with other engineering organizations, program management, factory operations, global supply chain, and qualityTravel to customer and supplier sites as requiredBasic Qualifications: A candidate must meet ALL of the criteria below. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
