Central Scheduling Coordinator (In-Office) – Healthcare Administration Location: Sarasota, FL Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time (40 hours/week) – In Office Are you looking for a stable, in-person role in healthcare administration where your work directly impacts patient care? FYZICAL is seeking a Central Scheduling Coordinator to support our clinics by coordinating patient scheduling, managing referrals, and ensuring a seamless experience from first contact through treatment. This is a high-accountability, fast-paced position best suited for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable handling a high volume of patient interactions and data entry throughout the day. What You’ll Do Manage incoming patient referrals across multiple electronic systems and ensure timely follow-up Schedule patient evaluations and appointments in accordance with clinic protocols Accurately enter and update patient demographics, insurance, and referral information in the EMR system Conduct outbound calls and follow-ups to schedule new patients and confirm appointments Communicate clearly with patients, physician offices, and insurance representatives Track and update patient activity in internal systems for reporting and accountability Support front-end administrative processes including documentation, scanning, and coordination with clinical teams Maintain compliance with HIPAA and company policies What You Bring 1+ year of experience in scheduling, medical office administration, or high-volume customer service Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry Ability to manage multiple systems, priorities, and deadlines throughout the day Professional, clear communication skills (phone, email, and in-person) Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and EMR systems preferred Reliability and consistency in attendance and performance What We Offer Comprehensive health insurance 100% employer-paid dental, vision, life insurance, and long-term disability 401(k) with company match 120 hours of paid time off annually 6 paid holidays A structured, team-oriented environment with clear expectations and support Why FYZICAL FYZICAL is a growing healthcare organization focused on delivering high-quality physical therapy services.
