Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand client needs and develop personalized treatment plans that facilitate their therapeutic goals. \n
- Provide ongoing psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, applying various therapeutic modalities effectively based on their unique situations. \n
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate clinical documentation in adherence to Maryland state regulations and Key Well Counseling's operational policies. \n
- Engage in weekly clinical supervision and case consultations, collaborating with peers to enhance the quality of care and refine therapeutic approaches. \n
- Work with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to coordinate care and broaden support for clients. \n
- Actively uphold ethical and legal standards of practice, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and professional conduct. \n
The LCMFT in this role will work with a diverse clientele, addressing challenges relating to couple dynamics, family issues, and individual mental health struggles. Whether supporting those undergoing significant life changes, healing from trauma, or navigating relationship difficulties, you will be at the forefront of fostering healthier interactions and living conditions.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is required. \n
- An active LCMFT license in the state of Maryland is mandatory to practice in this role. \n
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is essential, preferably in a similar therapeutic setting. \n

- Experience working specifically with couples, families, or children is highly favorable. \n
- Training or certification in evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, EFT, Gottman Method, DBT, or CBT would be beneficial to enhance therapeutic approaches. \n
- Demonstrated clinical judgment, cultural competence, and effective communication skills to foster strong therapeutic alliances. \n
- The ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment is essential for success in this role. \n
